Medical Care

Medical care that looks at the bigger picture

You shouldn't have to wait until something is wrong to start paying attention to your health.

APL provides physician led medical care that looks beyond isolated symptoms and standard annual lab work. Medical care is provided by licensed physicians and physician assistants.

Focused care, or part of a program

Some people come to us for one thing, like hormone care. Others want a team looking across every part of their health. Your consultation helps us work out which makes sense for you.

Your first visit

What to expect when you start

  1. Intake

You complete a secure health history before you arrive, so we don't waste your time on paperwork in the room.
  2. Labs

Most people have bloodwork drawn before or soon after the first visit, so the conversation is based on real numbers.
  3. Evaluation

You sit down with your provider for an unhurried conversation about your symptoms, history and goals.
  4. Your plan

You leave knowing what we found, what we recommend and when we will check in next.

What is longevity medicine?

Sunlight streaming over a forest path lined with moss and ferns

Longevity medicine focuses on staying healthy for longer, rather than waiting to treat illness once it appears. It looks for early signs of the conditions that most affect how long and how well people live, such as heart disease, diabetes, loss of muscle and bone, and changes in hormones.

In practice, that means a closer look at your numbers, earlier conversations about risk, and small changes made sooner. It is regular medicine with a longer view.

Common reasons people come to us

  • Feeling tired, foggy or not like yourself, with "normal" labs
  • Hot flashes, poor sleep or mood changes in your 40s or 50s
  • Lower energy, strength or drive
  • Weight that has crept up and won't shift
  • A family history of heart disease or diabetes
  • Wanting a proper baseline before something goes wrong

Ask our team
How often will I see my provider?

It depends on your plan. Focused care usually means a first evaluation, then follow ups after any change in treatment. Comprehensive programs include regular check ins through the year.

Who provides the medical care?

Licensed physicians and physician assistants, led by our Medical Director, Dr. Langley.

Can I combine medical care with training or MAT?

Yes. Many clients do both. The two are kept separate in scope and oversight, but your plans can be coordinated.

Do you take insurance?

No. APL is a cash based practice. Your provider explains what your care includes, and anything billed separately, before you start.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. You can request a private consultation directly. If you already have a doctor, we are happy to work alongside them.

What happens at my first medical visit?

Your provider goes through your history, symptoms and goals, reviews any imaging or reports you already have and decides what testing makes sense. You leave with clear next steps.
